I like the arrangement of A well enough, but the singing ruins it for me. His voice is just boring, even grating.
And as for B, it's alright. I can't claim to love it, but it's pleasant enough.

Do people really listen to either of these things for enjoyment? Fucking hell - 8 minutes of that PSB monstrosity? UUUUGGGGHHHH!
A is shit, but not as shit as B.

I like both of these, good picks. I haven't heard A for a long time, or B much recently for that matter either so both sound relatively fresh. If i have to choose one it's probably B.

A is OK – I like the arrangement. It kind of feels like a collision between Gates of Eden and The Poacher. As for TPSB I have a lot of time for them – I like Tennant’s voice and the ironic bombast and that wry quality the lyrics have – but I’m not a massive fan of this track. So

I listened to this out of politeness, and at least it's not Pearly Spencer, but I do find his Irishman sings American accent difficult to get on with it, and the arrangement are prodcution are so firmly rooted in the mediocrity of late Sixties British recording practice that I couldn't really enjoy it. Wimpish crap. 3.5/10
There are very few things that ms thang and I agrre on, and we're very far apart on the Pet Shop Boys. She hates them. I enjoyed Tennant's work as a journalist, and, while it took me a while before the penny dropped, I eventually decided that they were in my top ten all-time British bands, and I especially liked their long-form material, draped in lushness and campery, that you found on their 12" remixes - I actually own the even longer 12" single of this. 7.5/10

I think A is non-descript sub-Pearly Spencer (a song I really love, be the way).
B I've enjoyed A LOT more than I thought I would!

Liked the McWilliams, it wheels along nicely.
Other than a handful of their early tracks I’m a PSB sceptic. There’s something very smug about Tennant and I don’t trust him or his tastes. And Being Boring is shite.
Che Guevara and Debussy is it Neil? Your not even Lembit and Bobby Crush mate.
I do like this song THO
