This is my kind of matchup. "Jericho Skank" is new to me, and we'll be getting acquainted even further later I'm sure, but it's doubtful I'll ever enjoy it as much as the lovely "Stephanie Says".

i was quite excited to see a mittoo track selected, but this one is a missed opportunity.
once again, B's lucked out on a terribly unoriginal choice. i hope he can look himself in the mirror once the dust has settled.

Not a good match for the perfectly fine first track..Stephanie Says is sublime, with Lou in amazing form..Takes a lot for me to vote against VU/Lou and A didn't get there..Vote B

Tough call. Do I reward whoever chose Mittoo for stepping somewhat out of the canon? Or do I reward the far better track from a much safter choice? Alas, the difference between these two is large enough that I'll vote...
B.

I like the VU generally, and that track specifically, despite the fact that one of them is a Trumper Troll. Don't know about the others.
Fortunately, A is a bold pick and, while a bit slight, it's got a winning groove.
It's a relief, because voting for B would be like voting for Curt Schilling for the Hall of Fame. On a stats level, it's deserved, but I don't want any part of supporting traitors.

Look, pal, if you don't support our great and glorious, god-sent leader President Trump, why don't you just move to Cana... oh. Nevermind.

I see what you did there, Colin Occupants!
Another match where I love both - can never have too much Ernest Raglin in my life.
B is great, of course, but being a little older than most here, I don't have the worship for VU that others do. Wasn't my first VU album, and in fact I even heard this track on a bootleg before it came out officially.
Not that any of that would matter if it were clearly the better song, or if reggae - especially that vintage - held a little more sway here (pun intended, I guess), or even if A seemed to have a decent shot at winning. But as of now, none of those are the case.

A's cool, an interesting choice, but not really a match of the VU at their most exquisite

A for the Ranglin. Mittoo is just the gravy enough to put it over the top.

As much as I enjoy seeing the word "skank" used in a positive context I must be true to my boring and safe SKOOL.

I can't vote for T. Rex, Neil Young and Velvet Underground
A
This is definitely the best of the challengers.

Kinda regretting not going with A here. A most excellent selection. Definitely a new favorite.
Props to the picker.
