Been watching I Know This Much Is True (the most relentlessly miserable spectacle I’ve seen since the Preludin final) and Kathryn Hahn is doing herself no harm in the “future Mrs Gash” stakes.
Next stop Mrs Fletcher

Charles Napier played guys who looked like they could probably kick your ass for years. www.imdb.com/name/nm0621008/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1it turns out that his voice could probably kick your ass too - he did a LOT of voice overs!

Fred Dalton Thompson is an interesting one. Could only play stuffed-shirts and authority figures, but did it really well. Which isn't really surprising because he was a stuffed-shirt and authority figure. Was he acting as a senator, or was he a senator first?

Brad Dourif is one of those actors who you feel should have been a big star. I dunno if the parts just never happened - here's hardly leading man material but still - or he just chose a different path. Obviously he's been in a shitload of movies, most of them pretty terrible you suspect so he's had a successful career I guess (I was happy to see him in LOTR) but yeah.

I've only seen him in One Flew Over... and then something from much later, where he played this seedy old dude collecting criminal debt in a bar. He was great in both, completely different roles.

I've seen him countless times over the years....Blue Velvet, Child's Play, X-files, Exorcist 3, random b movie shit.
The other day I was flicking through the channels and he was in the yank version of Tales of the Unexpected playing some serial killing drifter or summat.
Looking at wiki he was in Deadwood and was nominated for an Emmy which makes me happy.

Wiseblood is his most memorable performance I think, but he always picked interesting films in the 70s and 80s.
