Basically I stopped watching HBO when it got into bed with sky, so the only one I know at all well from the 2010s list is Game of Thrones, and much though I loved that, the 2000s featured three or four of my favourite series of the century so far, so wins easily.

oh, it's all good. HBO is the main reason I haven't "Land Lined" my cable yet. there's always something I'm meaning to get around to. if I ever do -- I'm usually glad I did. plus - they keep most of what they've done in the past available now. the 2010s is closer to now, therefore - I say 2010s.

2000s: Oz (32 episodes in 2000s) Wire Deadwood Carnivale Sopranos Some of True Blood Early Curb
VS.
2010s: Treme Boardwalk Empire Vinyl Deuce Late Curb
Though Treme and Boardwalk rank pretty high, it's not enough to topple the 2000s stuff..(Not into Game of Thrones)

The greatest shows are from the 2000s.
With hindsight that period was something of a golden age in TV. You can't beat the Sopranos, The Wire and peak Curb. I haven't seen Game of Thrones but given the criticism of the final series and the fantasy milieu it doesn't really interest me. I should watch Oz - a mate adored it but I never got round to it.

Watching OZ now, it's a tight watch. Not in that it's shite, just what happens in it. Fucking hell.
