The whole of June is taken up by a Europe-wide international tournament left over from last year, THO. That'll mean the TV schedule is shot to shit no doubt. Dreadful state of affairs.

morning check-in. Day out walking in the Mendips for her thanginess and me today. Well, that didn't go to plan: traffic was bad, roads closed and diverted, and by the time we got there the car park and roads were absolutely rammed and the sunny intervals day in which we set out mutated into something grey and sombre, so after a five min ute dash to empty the dog, there was nothing for it but to head back home down the M5. Heigh-ho. Still, Scrap's birthday on Thursday and I'm planning to wander him around his old haunts in devon, maybe call in to see my record-dealing pal, Dave the Disc.

Something worth watching, every single night of the week. When does that happen, other than when it's the Euros or the World Cup?

Bloody hell, I remember you getting Scrap. I've only been dicking about on the internet for a couple of years, right, so this isn't possible.

For those lurking - busy morning today, dog out soon, someone coming for lunch in the garden later, won't be around to bump or start any threads for much of the day, soz

Going to the Temple of retail today - Bluewater. It even has metopes (tiles that classically would fit in between two columns as a decorative frieze - see the Parthenon) inside.

It's all gone murky and drizzly outside, which is fine by me as I'm working as usual, and this crappy weather suits me fine.
Also, planning to make my first post-lockdown trip to the local pub tonight. Looking forward to the normality of sitting at a sticky table with a pint of something slightly past its use by date like you wouldn't believe.

Sister and family coming to visit. That means it’s BBQ time.
Happy days. It’s been a while.
