A great moment in 90's UK guitar music - a luxurious, ambitious record full of emotion and drama. They didn't really ever better it.

I've never heard it just cos the later stuff always put me off 'em. I know some people who rate it though and I will give it a listen as I like a bit of shoegazy nonsense.

I still have a lot of time for this album. The sound of it is excellent, just what you want from a bit of 90s indie guitar psych. I played A Northern Soul the other week, and while it's good in parts i don't like it nearly as much these days as ASIH. Same with UH.
