Both sweet, likeable bits of music.
I think
B is just a bit more in my HOUSE O' WHEEL

A sounded like of those tame 'white bread' singers like Fabien. Antiquated and pretty bland. B's not a stand out, but it was jaunty and very likeable. It wins this with ease

A unavailable. Hopefully this is the same:
Nice arrangement, good song, well-sung - teen idol production used to be a lot better in the old days, eh? - but there's really nothing about it that stands out or brings about a deeper connection.
Something similar might be said about B (though those background vocal swoops are pretty cool), and kudos for both for digging a little deeper, but blah blah blah wheelhouse blah blah blah.

Harmless 60s pop obscurity alert. It exists, but nothing convinces me it's a lost classic or anything. I would've put money on this being a good few years earlier than 1965, too.
Second use of "El" in the E round, which I think is controversial, but I'll not raise an official complaint. Because I don't care, and I suspect Ray doesn't either. Hard to choose between these slices of generic soda-shop pop piffle.
A, because of its cutting edge modernity.

Hard to choose between these slices of generic soda-shop pop piffle. See Snee's post later about the Eldorados. The El Michels Affair I apologise about: by the time I noticed it it was too late to request an alternative (I was putting the rounds up) so I let it slide: one could always express one's displeasure about it by voting against it, should one care.

Eh, what are you two on about? El Michels Affair is the name of the group, just like you said in the rules. What's the problem? Anyway, like both these tracks, but B hits me that little bit more, love it. B

Oh FFS, get a life, all of you! It's also a twist on the initial of one of the members, L. Michels, so TECHNICALLY it should be fucking fine. (rofl)
