i've got a lot of time for middle period charlatans. s/t, tellin' stories and in particular, us and us only. they started to tail off after that.

I went for "Let There Be Love".
I believe it was the first official release with both their voices. I remember during the promo for Be Here Now there was an acoustic version of Stand By Me they sang together but pretty sure that is it.
Liam Gallagher is a twat but his voice is his own and gave what at times are quite pedestrian, derivative compositions more of an edge; Noel is lost without him, that being said Liam own stuff is almost just as bad. It's weird how many groups rely on the chemistry between their members...... a musical alchemy of some sort....it certainly captured our hearts for a while and even though this was towards the end of their existence it still pisses all over anything Lewis Capaldi has or will ever do.....
As for the Charlatans, well I heard Ian Brown is boycotting festivals so I guess they got a good stand in with Tim Burgess.....a Quietus favourite....

I prefer William's solo stuff to Noel's. No messing around, just Liam being Liam. He's better bantaaaaaa in interviews too.

Nope, William Gallagher with a silent second 'G'.
