Well, there's already been more Guns n Roses than I expected in this competition. I was hoping the tune would manage the restraint of the first 30 seconds, which were quite pleasant, but all this good time rock n roll thing isn't for me. It's like a modern, slightly more American and competent take on that Ian Hunter track. The bass is really lovely sounding, but the song is very much the kind of thing I have no idea what to do with. I guess it could've been much worse. I was anticipating worse. The intro, and that 30 seconds after 4:20 are quite good.
The Skope selection, shirley? It's different, for sure, not the standard Stones substitute I was expecting. It's also kind of annoying in the extreme, boring and shrill and hectoring and a complete mess. I think I hate it, but want to vote for it because it was trying something that didn't work in any way at all, and stands alone like a proud ivory statue of a turd.

Not a G'n'R fan in the slightest, mind you, but I always thought Izzy was their secret weapon - understood groove, the importance of musical 'support' and subtlety. This is pretty slight, just kind of a Stones pastiche, but it's a pleasant listen. I'd probably reach for this before even the best G'n'R stuff. Bit longer than it needs to be, but at least it has a few parts that make me perk up my ears a bit. I would have voted for it against most of the other picks here.
B is just...odd. Not sure it's wholly successful, or what it's even trying for (the 'creator' credit leads me to believe it's a studio creation rather than an organic 'band'), but between the weird time signature, the guitar jangle and the upfront bass, it manages to be a pretty engaging ride to wherever the hell it thinks it's going.
Wasn't expecting to look to Axl Rose's backing band for competence, or to a slick studio creation for eccentric weirdness, but here we are...

A has some nice noises going on, but as a song it could be one of those Springsteen's make-the-arena-jump numbers.
B is way more interesting, even if I agree with DF and Hatz that is some kind of failed attempt.

A is just dull, the kind of thing I guess rich rockers with very expensive equipment make to indulge their continuing fantasies. It really does nothing surprising or interesting at all.
I was never arsed about the garage selection - it IS odd, and not appealingly so. But it beats the Izzy mess

I prefer A, but agree that B is an interesting curiosity (what time sig is it? Maybe a very quick 5/4? I don’t know)
But… A

A just sounds like the soundtrack to a 90s Budweiser TV ad. Of no interest to me whatsoever.
B is one of Jerry Cole's studio concoctions, the same guy who did The Animated Egg. It's great, moody and strange with some fine slashing guitar. Does it hang together in an accomplished way? Hell no, but that's part of its charm. Cole is a fascinating character.

A is decent roots rock with all the right touches (even Ian Maclagan on the Hammond, apparently) but it's still very generic in tone.
B is weird! I really dig that slashing vibrato-ed guitar and those odd backing vocals. I'm not really sure what it's supposed to be, but whatever it is, is pretty cool sounding.

There are some very nice instrumental passages in A, but the vocals are weak and it goes on way too long
B is weird but not in a good way.
A then, but just.

The Izzy track sounds like a duller take on 70s era Stones..The Id track is compellingly odd, so it gets the nod..Vote B

Oh, good match. I really like both of these, Faces-styled rock and weird eccentric garage. For me right now, A just seems to make me a little bit happier. Apologies, B.

A was phenomenally dull, one big yawn.
B, on the other hand, piqued my interest, unusual time signature etc interesting lead vocals, in parts similar to Marty Balin.
