(Apparently, Keith himself says "Angie" is another word for heroin.) Keith has also said the song title was inspired by his newborn daughter Dandelion Angela. So his daughter was named after a weed and an opiate - how sweet! (I do wish Keith had sung it.)

I do enjoy Keith Richards vocal. There is something playful about his delivery like he knows it's all for fun or certainly the best "pop" music is....
Of course the pop music of yesterday and today are two very different propositions but that's another story....

So this came up on my recommended after I played this one.
This is some seriously great stuff, proper drunken jamming lot less polished and all the better for it.

So this came up on my recommended after I played this one. This is some seriously great stuff, proper drunken jamming lot less polished and all the better for it. Fruits of the Italian bootleg (Great Dane, KTS, etc.,) glory years of '88-'96, everything got released as long as an escrow account for royalties was set up. It forced the hands of the labels to finally open and release from their archives.
