Clapton for me. Jack Bruce has the more powerful voice for sure, but its cold and operatic. Clapton is more accessible.

I think Bruce is a better singer, but Clapton does fine when he's doing JJ Cale and that kinda stuff. He has a good warm voice that doesn't need to stretch too much.

I like Jack (in Cream, at least) but prefer Clapton.

That said, I don't necessarily think that Cream's records would have been improved by having Eric sing most of the songs.

Bruce was the right voice for Cream with Clapton mixed in, like Greg lake, Bruce had a voice that could elevate wherever he would appear. He was a great guest vocalist, whose solo work, I progressively lost interest in. Whilst Clapton had a nice voice for his solo work, which I never had to buy due to his constant FM radio presence.
