Nominate one here. One only.
Tomorrow you can nominate another - but only then.
If this 'gains traction' then maybe it could be developed into a poll or a cup or I don't know what.
My nomination is this, which is currently being celebrated by tastemakers on Facebook, and which I expect to be met with indifference here because it isn't the fucking Associates or John Cougar Mellencrap:

We've had you pushing this one before. I liked it enough to buy it at the time (partly because I just thought it cool that someone had written a song about Brian Jones), but it's attraction quickly dimmed. It's okay, but nothing great.

It doesn't matter about that. Post your choice.

This still doesn't make up for David Soul.

It doesn't matter about that. Post your choice. If I had to pick just one, I'd probably pick the track you picked against me in the recent cup - the 12" of Slave to the Rhythm by Grace Jones. That reaches a kind of perfection for me, it doesn't get any better.

Absolutely! Everything about it is sonic perfection. someone should lock you up and throw away the key. That kind of big production sound runs counter to your kind of puritan trad rock aesthetic, but you should throw off your shackles and embrace the sensual sonic trip of that record. On a similar vibe, only State of Independence by Donna Summer comes close.
