I'm interested in the philosophy behind product fonts. This is quite "lively", trying to distract perhaps, from the fact that they produce bog roll dispensers.

What do you think of the practice of bringing back old package designs (the dreaded 'retro' bullshit)? I'm against it in principle but I have to admit sometimes it looks attractive - some catch your eye in the supermarket. Tesco are pushing old 50s Kelloggs designs with Rockwell paintings and they're lovely
