Zvuki Mu were part of the no wave scene and played with the Residents in New York. Basically like a Russian Devo, even had an album produced by Brian Eno.
Nothing posted so far is as bad as Mull of Kin fucking tyre.

Some of the stuff in that thread is excellent. I see Raskolnikov's Mull of Kintyre, and raise Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey. I reckon post-Beatles McCartney could run this thread on his own.

Uncle Albert? Get out of here. That's an example of something not being to your taste, whereas a lot of the stuff we have been posting is objectively bad - poorly sung, tuneless, poorly played etc. UA may be a bit too cute for some tastes, it is for mine probably, but its musicality is undeniable.

But I still think the UK national Anthem is the worst thing I ever heard

Most of the stuff in this thread isn't objectively bad though. Just not to your taste. You wouldn't complain about a WASP track being here, for example, but McCartney's silly voice lameness is acceptable in some way.

The sound it makes is muzak to my ears. And he can't sing.

His voice is flatter than custard. If you're going to bring up objectivity then at least follow it through.

Choosing acts from Quebec is approaching fish-in-a-barrel territory, but still...

It would be like claiming Eddie Van Halen can't play guitar because you don't like his style of soloing.

Look on Discogs - he's one of those guys who kept getting record deal after record deal for no apparent reason.

More from Quebec. This one seems to be on regular rotation at the radio station I set my alarm to for some reason.
