Let's throw something weird at Dayo. I think there's an echo of the same mentality as that last track, just done well:

It's as if They Might Be Giants got into Krautrock. I dig it. Bouncy and off kilter..
Also checked out a couple of tracks he did with Palais Schaumburg.. Interesting stuff..
I'll hand a track out to somebody a little later..

I thought you'd already know his Palaus Schaumburg stuff, it's essential stuff. This was the single from his debut album, made just using an early sampler with occasional drums and bass, maddeningly chaotic and kind of catchy.

This one is for the fishy fella Oh gawd. It's what Syd would sound like if the Floyd were just starting in 2024.

Here's one for Fonz..(Somebody sent it to me, thought Fonz would dig the mix of hardcore and metal..)

I enjoyed that Holger Hiller track, had a really full, committed sound.

Here's one for Fonz..(Somebody sent it to me, thought Fonz would dig the mix of hardcore and metal..) "Sometimes" Year of the Knife Yeah. Cheers. Nice chunky guitars, and drums that aren’t mentally fast; pretty straight, no weird Meshuggah-like polyrhythmic action. The vocal: fuck me, that’s harsh. Totally without melody. But… I dig the lyrics. That intense level of introspection. Just kidding. Couldn’t understand a word. I couldn’t do a whole album of that. I’ll have to find something to inflict. Give me 24 hours

this one is for Davey.
FWIW I think it’s great. I love those first 2-3 U2 albums. Teenage DNA for me. I love the passion and enthusiasm. There’s zero cynicism yet.

This one (and early U2 in general) is a mixed bag for me. The band sounds more ferocious than they ultimately would. But But Bono’s voice got better. He’s kinda hard to take here. It’s a good song. But the vocal irks me, sad to say. Here’s one for loveless…
