I'm watching this session from Dizzy and James Moody on the BBC in 1966. Just beautiful stuff, I can't help smiling throughout.

Mrs C got me the Miles Mono box set for my birthday last month, and I'm thoroughly enjoying working my way through it very slowly, taking my time. I've been playing the hell out of 'Round About Midnight and Miles Ahead thus far, and they do sound wonderful in the mono mixes.

^Wonderful vision, cheers. The original recording of this, and the whole of the Chet Baker Sings album really, was a huge jazz gateway record for me in my teens.

Too obvious for this thread? I need a copy of this album, anyway.
