Really delightful film, i enjoyed it very much. I've come to the conclusion i really like Thompson as an actress. She's not really bad in anything i've seen her in. Hanks is solid as ever, however Novak should stick to the writing or mooching off Kaling. Farrell tries his best but his accent is fucking shite.

Chalie O, I LOVE "Son of Paleface" it has one of my favorite movie lines EVER: "Hurry up, this is impossible!"

Markus, did you like "...Mr. Banks" I liked ET in it but otherwise I thought it was a stinker. it struck me as being DISNEY's Tribute to DISNEY. you know?

Hope is seriously great in it. His influence on Woody has never been more plain to me.

I hope that one day Frank Tashlin will get a lot more credit as a comedy stylist. that "cartoony" approach is fantastic when the leads are up to it & Bob most certainly was.
the "mirage" sequence is hilarious too. "Hey, Martin & Lewis!"

ESPECIALLY "Love & Death" I really think of that as Woody's Bob Hope movie.

Richard Jewell, with my son. While an arch conservative, director Clint Eastwood is a good director. He knows when to art stuff up and when to let the story tell the story. With Jewell, it was all the story, unlike Gran Torino, for example, which was a little more arty.

Watched Sunset Boulevard and Ray yesterday. I'm embarrassed to say I'd never watched either one before. SB was the better movie, but Ray had the better music.

Just watched the orginal Cat People by Jacques Tourneur. I hadn’t seen it since I was a monster movie obsessed kid.
What an incredible film!

The Living Daylights on the normal telly. Dalton was the best Bond.
