my pre-tournament confidence has taken a bit of a knock. i've badly misjudged preludin. it seems like old chestnuts such as the temptations are getting most of the plaudits whereas originality is being punished in the voting. still at least no one has chosen a beatles track... I speak for myself. I certainly don't intend to punish originality, I would tend to consider it a plus, but I have decided not to punish familiarity either. My approach is to vote for the track that hits me in a better way at the time of listening to the match, that's all.

I think the degree of understanding is dependent on whether you're being offered a drink or whether it's your round!

I'm genuinely surprised my choice isn't picking up more votes in this round. I put my best track first and fully expected everyone to go 'WOAH!' - and instead there's all this talk about how 'standard' it is, and how the other (really rather weak) track is superior. I'm with you. Preludin seems harder to predict than BCB in these things. If I had my choice, I'd ban Goatboy from participating in any further competitions.

Is there still a Rayge alias (pr two) participating in this contest? I haven't seen anything that stands out as an obvious plant.

Neither is a joke post, just things I like, in fields that many on here – who can get fucqued, basically – disdain, but others may enjoy. I'm amused to see that nobody yet has correctly identified the person who has entered a track, despite many confident guesses

So one of your aliases could win, despite you having no interest in being competitive? That'd be good for a laugh!
