The first 5 in chronological order. Almost. I'd rate Lifes Rich Pageant before the previous two. And I'd probably put Automatic for the People ahead of Document. The rest is left at some distance, something like
Monster Green Out of Time
New Adventures in HiFi (bores me everytime)

I've actually listened to Out of Time a bit recently and feel I may have come back to that album after being critical about it for years.
I know Radio Song has been much criticised over the years but its funk is certainly no worse than earlier attempts like Can't Get There.. and it has a lovely chorus. Losing My Religion is overplayed to the point where I'll probably never get a kick out of it again but I like Low and Near Wild Heaven is lovely. Side two is almost wall-to-wall goodness. Shiny Happy is their best bubblegum song, Belong has Stipe and Mills harmonising which is lovely thing, Half a World Away is rather wonderful, Texarkana is a windswept Mike Mills gem and Me In Honey is marvellous too. The only misfire is Country Feedback where Stipe overreaches, needlessly swears and gets all serious and sullen ala World Leader Pretend.

Country Feedback is possibly the best track on the album
