Impressive CV when you look back. Directed an all time family favourite, did the first proper superhero film, and kicked off/revitalized the buddy cop genre. www.imdb.com/name/nm0001149/

I had no idea he'd done Sarah T. - Portrait Of A Teenage Alcoholic or The Banana Splits. Respect!

plenty of Twilight Zones too! I lived and worked in Hollywood for years. i was around gaffers and drivers and people like that who said really super nice things about him. those people rarely had a nice thing to say about anybody.

He had a really nice career..Directed two of my favorite Twilight Zones (The Jeopardy Room, Nightmare at 20,000 feet) and some movies I like (Lethal Weapon, Ladyhawke, Scrooged, Goonies)..Little too obsessed with Mel Gibson for my taste, though..
