I watched a Seinfeld marathon on Comedy Central last week. The whole show is predicated pretty much on stupid stuff, not nothing as they'd like you to believe.
Like Jerry starts uses "Boutros Boutros-Ghali" the former UN Sec'y General, for no reason at all, as an exclamation. It's stupid, but it's funny.
