One of the great sporting figures of my childhood, his jinking sidesteps were legendary. And then of course there was his famous dressing room speech before the England game:
"Look what these bastards have done to Wales. They have taken our coal, our water, our steel. They buy our houses and live in them for a fortnight every year. What have they given to us? Absolutely nothing. We were exploited, raped, controlled and punished by the English – and that’s who you’re playing this afternoon."
Absolute legend.

I'm surprised there wasn't a brawl before the game with that kind of speech.
