'Not rolling...' 'Looming', for some reason, and Childhood's End
They stood out for me, but I always like the watery reflections and the geometric shapes etc.
Your 4-legged companion is very photogenic!
How's the Achilles ?

'Not rolling...' 'Looming', for some reason, and Childhood's End They stood out for me, but I always like the watery reflections and the geometric shapes etc. Your 4-legged companion is very photogenic! How's the Achilles ? Cheers fonz. I shall pass on your approbation to Scrap, currently snoring, full-bellied in the sofa beside me.
The Achilles is still ruptured, I think, but a combination of a NSAID gel and avoiding running, jumping and uneven ground, and being very careful on stairs, has minimised the pain, but I'm finding the disability wearing. I limp along OK, and am still doing some walks with the dog every other day or so for a mile or two, plus a quarter mile or so every night around ten o'clock - he likes to pop into the grounds of the nearby public school, as they have a better quality of grass for him to shit on - but i find the new way of getting about (I used to be a heel and toe power walk kind of guy) by swinging my left leg out and not letting the knee flex, much like Chester in Gunsmoke (ask your dad), really tiring. I have an appointment with the GP's MSK specialist next Wednesday, and I'm hoping she will come up wth some ways I can strengthen it so I will be getting about better when we go back to Evian on the 21st.
Just to add to the general joys, I had a Covid booster yesterday: my first time with the Modena vaccine, and I had a bad reaction to it, something I never had with any other jab I've ever had. Really feel like crap now - hope it will improve by tomorrow.
