Here's a page from an old Radio Times. Which programmes have been blacked out? NO GOOGLING!

Pebble Mill At One (At 1PM, obs)?
I'm not convinced the 7:40PM show needs much investigation.

7.05 Open University 1.00 Dunno 1.45 Trumpton (Cuthbert the giveaway) 4.00 Jackanory? 4.30 Dunno 5.10 John Craven's Newsround?? 6.00 Dunno 6.45 Tomorrow's World (what else did Judith Hann ever do?) 7.40 Terry & June seems too obvious, so I guess it was the married couple show they did before that. Couldn't remember the title, so I looked it up, but won't spoil it for others (although there can't be many on here who were conscious of BBC daytime programming in 1976...)

and you'd be wrong about your second guess: JC being a Naughty Boy again.

D'Oh! I stopped watching those current affairs/magazine shows when Tonight ended in - gulp - 1969.

Good stuff! Ray needs to shift a couple of times around.
Only one to guess - a very famous (as BBC kids' TV goes) show.

Surely the magic roundabout is the 5.10.

Surely the magic roundabout is the 5.10. Sounds right to me

Didn't realise, or had forgotten, MR was only five minutes.

Bonus question. What has 4.45 got in common with 5.15?
