The Microdisney doco/thread sent me down a rabbit hole, and I found some things I was once very fond of, but have since forgotten. And now I'm going to dump some of them here. Maybe just the one tonight, but I will return, as there are really rather a lot of them (no Britpop, I hasten to add) Blue Aeorplanes, Dali's Car, The Daintees, the Heads, Pie Finger, Nectarine No. 9, and this bunch

Dali's Car was great, I love Mick Karn's one-of-a-kind bass playing and prefer Murphy to Sylvian.

I can’t think of anything obscure. The 90’s was about hip hop to me. I liked Th Faith Healers, Sun Dial, the Telescopes, the first Thee Hypnotics album some shoe gaze and well known bands like Stereolab and Super Furry Animals and some post rock like Bark Psychosis and Disco Inferno. Was the first Godflesh album 80’s or 90’s?
