So today, while painting a hotel room, I had my Spotify account rattling through various albums. Big Stars Radio city began. I initially thought, the opener was a contender for the weakest track first thread. As it continued and eventually finished, I thought, blimey ! It's actually all pretty shit. Came as a bit of a surprise. I thought I used to like it.
Thankfully, Green on Red with Gas, Food, lodging followed. I liked that.
Anyone else spectacularly fallen out of love with a record.

I'm loading up my iPod with all my favourite tunes after Apple WIPED THE WHOLE FUCKING DRIVE CLEAN ahem.... just give me a moment.... and, erm, yes, I'm finding that happens quite a lot. I've fallen out of love with records, tunes, bands. Rarely fully, but...when it comes to putting some B-52s tunes back on the thing, for example, it's a matter of 'fuck it, just leave it'

Me, I used to be extremely fond of Uriah Heep from Salisbury up until maybe Wonderworld or so. WTF was I thinking?

I'll always defend tracks two and three on (possibly) their finest album. They're very silly but I really like them. I can often be found singing them loudly while walking down the street. Good ones to make up your own naughty words to!

that guy's voice just suddenly found a kill switch in my nervous system. I'd still rock out to (at least) "look at yourself" from time to time if the dude's voice didn't give me the willies.
