I thought B was gonna be some funky breakbeat type thing but it quickly became rather unpleasant.
Comfortably A even if I think it's more about the production than the song but, you know, I'm also a sucka for this type of thing too.

A may well be sumptuous, but it's in a very ordinary way. I've heard zillions of things like this and they don't have a slightly muffled, kitschy vocal to spoil the effect either. I'm not sure what I was supposed to get out of B. The drums and bass riff were good but just letting them play for ages and occasionally putting some random sample over the top isn't selling it to me. Oh, now someone started doing something with a guitar. I preferred it when they were just letting the drums and bass play for ages and putting some random sample over the top. Please stop now.

which sounds like every other song on that Intruders record. That is to say, great.

Never heard either of these before, although I can imagine which one I would like better a Ah, Philly soul, all satin pillows and soft yearning. Nice harmonies and arrangements pleasantly devoid of fu*k. Doesn't grab me by the lapels and give me a good shaking, but it breezed by in a pleasant perfumed mist. Didn't listen to the words, so won' comment. Pretty good. 6 / 10 b Drummers, eh? 3 /10
A, handily
