I've recently gone back to those after a long time in Salomons. I'm finding the heels a bit clunky.

I sprained my knee going down some stairs last week so haven't been able to run on the treadmill a whole week. I have a beautiful park in back of my apartment where I used to run, but it's just too tough on my knees to run the trails every day. With a treadmill, I can. Luckily, I have a stationary bike in my apartment and was doing that 45 minutes each night. Today, I plan on going back to the treadmill. I like Nike running shoes and just got a new pair. I don't like to pay a lot though so just go with their flex line.

I have switched from primarily running to doing a strength/cardio fitness class. I've found my Brooks running shoes don't hold up well in there, so I may get more of a cross training shoe next time.
However, a Tri-club may be starting up at the gym so my running may pick up quickly if that gets organized. Then I'll need to get those running shoes again. Damn my highbrow needs for specialized equipment!
