I haven't had a single European order since December. It's Brexit isn't it? I'm just hoping European buyers get used to having to pay some extra tax on goods sent from the UK and begin to trundle back...well we can only hope!
Have you updated your seller terms for Europe, G? No! Cheers for the reminder.
It was something I was going to anyway as I just used some generic Etsy thing at the time, where half of it is irrelevent anyway.

That's why no orders - your stuff will be delisted.

Have you added everything you’ve got to your collection database? Took me a month or so but that’ll give you some idea of the things you have that go for the big money. Trouble is the things that are worth anything are the ones I want to keep. Gah! That sounds like a complete nightmare. If they all had barcodes then I might try it, but at a guess I'd say fewer than a quarter of my records do have barcodes. I don't think I'd have the patience for it.

I did mine during the first lockdown. It was a pain. Once completed though it did feel good.

I think I would have had a notification about that and the last time I looked on their forums there was nothing suggesting that was happening.

For a ton of records, especially small label stuff (indie, punk, soul), it's pretty easy to figure out which version you have, because you'll only have one or two options to choose from. It gets to be a pain in the ass for very popular releases, or certain albums that remained in print for a million years (a lot of the old classic jazz albums are a real bear with this).

Just check, G. It certainly happened. I've never been on their forums

They sometimes white out your prices so no-one can order

They sometimes white out your prices so no-one can order If you haven't set prices for a region. They said they were going to do it by a certain date, gave people a month's grace to sort themselves out, and when I left in January there were lots of white-outs, as you say, mostly for low-volume sellers who presumably could not be arsed or did not get the memos

I've not heard of Etsy doing that. On Etsy, you only set one price snyway, then you set the shipping price separately for each region. From what I can gather European buyers will have to pay tax on anything over 22 Euros and its been set at a very high rate, so that's why a lot of people's European sales have collapsed.

Just put Loveless vinyl up for £200. Hardly played the thing and the sleeves are in perfect nick. Seems a bit on the steep side price wise, but I guess you can reduce it if it doesn't sell at that. just received: Hello!
Yes, I am Polish and located in Poland John, is there anything we can do with the price? Really would like to buy this. I tried to buy this record with budget 150€, but it usually was not enough. W so my offer is a bit more: 150 pounds. Please consider my offer. I think it is similar to discogs median. Honest price for seller and not crazy for buyer.
Please consider my offer.
Thanks, Slawomirhow can I refuse?

"Hello Slawomir
Thank you for your kind offer. Try putting an extra 50 quid on it you tight Polish wanker. What am I, a fucking charity? p.s. Stop coming over here and stealing all our plumbing jobs. Kind regards John"
