For anyone who thinks that all decent British post-punk has already been unearthed, reissued and repackaged, there's one more thing that I'm quite excited about. Rema Rema only released one proper EP, but 4AD are issuing a collection of demos and bobbins and presenting it as an example of what their debut album could've been, as well as including the EP and some live stuff. And I for one will probably buy it. Notable members include Marco Peroni of Adam and the Ants, and some other people who went on to become The Wolfgang Press 4ad.com/releases/892

So much sounded like that circa 79-81. They'd probably be 7 or 8 tracks a night that sounded like that on Peel. I don't hear anything there to suggest it's any buried treasure.

Use to be a big fan of Rema and Mass, but I do understand they are of their time and their sturm and drang can be a little silly, similar to metal.

What is this shit with you lot deriding things as 'silly'? Bunch of joyless wankers.
