Watford are growing into this game. I reckon by the second half they'll be confident enough to consider trying to get the ball

entertaining game last night. felt sorry for palace, they were the better team. vieira seems to have been in the job longer than arteta and has already imprinted himself on the side. arteta remains wildly inconsistent despite the unbeaten run. i thought his starting xi looked good on paper, but the performance was poor again. both him and ole must be the luckiest managers in the prem.

I think the decision will be made at the end of the season when we will have finished somewhere between 8th and 13th. And the evidence will be he's not improving us and we need someone different.

And to be honest I'm okay with that, because I think finding the right guy in November of December or whenever will be difficult. Appraising things in the summer and drawing up a short list of viable candidates might well be the wise move.

I guess Ole or Bruce will be available, which do you want, G?

Steve Bruce available now, Newcastle have sacked him by mutual consent. To say I'm shocked would be an overstatement.

Was never as bad as Newcastle fans would have it. It's telling that his players always speak highly of him ( I suspect he's a good man manager). At the same time I can't feel too much sympathy when he's had a seven million pay off!
