They were big near the start of the century, kinda like Black Keys, but I still really like both MMJ and James. Anyone still listen to them?
I think their live album, Okonokos is one of the best ever.
But I really like James on his own too.

Odd song aside I've not been impressed by his solo stuff but the last one was good.
I think they peaked on the first three with diminishing returns after that. Always worth checking out live though.

Okonokos is great, aye. They are better live than on record ultimately. I don't think they've ever really captured their live power on record but It Still Moves is a modern classic imo. One of those albums that clearly is rooted in the past but still does its own thing.
