Just came across her 2018 Dylan covers album Things Have Changed, of which I was unaware until now.
I have a soft spot for her work, especially the comp Child of the Seventies and the brilliant The Scene of the Crime that she did with Drive-By Truckers. Here she covers a bunch of Dylan songs, most of them far from the obvious picks, and always with imaginative arrangements. Also, she manages to sing them in a rather restrained way, unlike her Interpretations album where she tended to go over the top. A very recommendable album.
Any opinions? Suggestions?

I heard her interviewed about this last year and totally forgot about it even as I planned to check it out.
Thanks for the reminder.

Bumpity bumpity bump. C'mon, no love for Bettye? Of course! Not really interested in a modern Dylan covers album, but a big fan of her 60s work.

Yes, love a lot of her early sides, but haven't heard any of these new releases. Cheers for the heads up, Os!

Some of those older soul divas have put out some great albums the past few years.
Mavis Staples consistently puts out really good albums.
