As a YouTube commenter notes, it's actually Toronto in 1969. Here it is in color, and with the image not reversed:

Ahhh Bo.
Like the sun, the moon and the stars.
This clip thrills me to the core. It's like you're watching one of the helix strands of rock n roll come to life and kick everybody's arse. Fabulous. Pretty sure 50% of the women in the audience gave birth to a Bo shaped baby 9 months after this gig btw*
*possibly fake news

Is this the place where I tell how I saw him play, with the Duchess and Jerome, in 1963, wearing that red check jacket and playing a square-bodied guitar (although the later may be a false memory, might have been a Flying V)? I can't honestly remember any details of the set, but the intricate, sinuous moves and kinetic rhythms of the front three, the smiley growl of Bo's voice and the elastic bounce of his playing, stay with me. His records were pretty big with me, they had a mythical quality, enhanced by the fact they were largely unavailable over here before Pye International took over the chess catalogue, and started (re-)releasing his 1950s material – along with Chuck, Wolf and other label luminaries – on singles, to coincide with, and drive the British blues boom.

I've been pretty obsessed with these three the last few months -
Say Man
Say Man, Back Again
Signifying Blues
The last one is the extended version from the Bo box. There is a shorter 45 version but I'll take all I can get.

It sure as hell doesn't look like that anymore! Also pretty interesting that, according to Wikipedia, there wasn't much interest in the show until it was confirmed that Lennon was going to perform, just a few days prior by a DJ in from Detroit, so a large part of the audience was from Michigan!
