French toast, bacon and maple syrup. maybe my favourite breakfast.

I quite like that these are all tied for first.
Great waffles are great, and bad waffles are awful. Pancakes are pretty consistently good, but hardly ever GREAT. French Toast, again, can be amazing, or terrible. Mostly they are all very good vehicles for butter and syrup.
The worst is that because I currently don't have a kitchen, I can't make ANY of these... except if I try and make a pancake in the instant pot, which apparently takes 45 minutes for ONE. I'm tempted, though.

I'm not a big fan of all the fruit, whipped cream and crap some restaurants dress these up with. Like you write, best with butter and syrup. As I stated earlier, my mom used to make Swedish pancakes, which are almost crepe like in their depth. I used to eat a million of those when she made them for us when I was a teenager.
