Jeez...until I viewed this, I had no idea how my mouth settles into a downward curve, and how my lips disappear, when I'm not actually smiling. Some of you maybe surprised that I went on a bit - who'd've thunk I could be longwinded...I certainly didn't set out to go on for 21 minutes, or to be so serious. I blame it on harve, who set the questions. At least he didn't ask me to sing, though...
These are the questions: 1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
2. What is your greatest fear?
3. What do you most dislike about your appearance?
4. Which talent would you most like to have?
5. What do you consider your greatest achievement?
6. What is your most treasured possession?
7. What is your greatest regret?
8. Which living person do you most despise?
9. What is your current state of mind?
10. How would you like to die?
A bonus question: How do you feel about the Supermarine Spitfire aeroplane?

Beautiful (arranged?) background there. And that was a great bit of synchronicity with you lighting up at the same time the pic of someone smoking on the monitor behind you appeared!
Nice point about modifying expectations rather than expecting things to change to suit you. And I kind of agree with you about planes/flying...

What's that thing on the top of his head? I get that Ray's smart, but it's not fair he gets an extra brain even if it's squirrel sized.

It's really interesting hearing you ramble on with such kind of thought and conviction. You seem to share a very similar world-view to me, but are able to commit yourself to the ethos more fully, you're like a hippier, happier version of me. I fully get the idea that happiness is a kind of matter of perspective on your life, that (barring genuinely unpleasant circumstances) the events and your station in life shouldn't really affect the sense of contentment. That "I modified my desires" line really rang true. I just can't commit to it, I find myself being utterly fed up and annoyed with everything far too often. Not stress, just a resigned passive fist-shake at the world. It annoys me because my dad was genuinely the most content man who ever lived, and the fact I can't live to that kind of example also annoys me. Ah well.
I also have to wonder if Harv was some kind of serial killer, lurking around the corner, with the "how would you like to die" question.

And yes, I did do a bit of set designing (although it does sort of look like that most of the time), how could I resist? Had the camera on a tripod, so I could work out angles and lighting. The synchronicity was serendipitious - I don't know what is going to come up, my screensaver is randomised.

Anyway, B and I watched this last night and she was nodding along to a lot of your answers saying things like "Mmhmm" and "He's right". It was nice to hear your voice and we got a good chuckle out of hearing you occasionally curse the questions.
