A was a hard test to my purpose of listening to all picks till the end. It might be a stellar pick but so far from my interest that B had to be really bad to lose this match. And it wasn't bad at all. I loved its wild nature and it moved me a lot. An easy

B is good enough. In fact I'm liking it quite a lot, there's shades of freakfolk in the manic charisma, or maybe it's just the tone of the flute that's doing that. A nice breakdown towards the end.

Is there even a flute on A? At best a sample of a flute, though it sounds more like pan pipes or some shit to me. This is even dull hip-hop, but it has nothing to do with flute in the slightest.
B gets the default vote, I guess, though it doesn't excite me terribly. Pretty dull riff, far too repetitive, and, while he's better at it than Ian Anderson, only Rasaan Roland Kirk should ever be allowed to do that breathy flute thing.

I like hip hop and some modern style R&B, but sadly for A i don't really like Drake. The backing track or samples are ok but don't do enough to help me get over the underwhelming singing. B is great; i have a couple of Steig albums and i should spin them more. Very funky and enjoyable.

Drake's got one of the most annoying voices since The Beasties Boys. It's a good idea to look for flute in an unexpected place, but this seems particularly uninspired other than 'the half-arsed kid playing a flute loop' which could've been fun if used well.
B is actually quite enjoyable, but if I vote for this I'd be breaking my word when I said I'd stick the boot into G whenever I spotted him.
B - but for balance, G is still a twat.

I like hip hop and Drake is Hip Hop’s answer to Journey, so therefore, B

I hoped Jeremy would change the riff at some point, but he didn't - but I still like him better than the recorder sample on A

So that's where the Beasties got it from.
A sounds like some of generic rap song where the rappers kid has been allowed to fuck around with a childs flute in the studio. terrible.
