Well DSOTM is the last palatable thing they did. Stuff like Animals or The Wall is some of the worst music known to mankind. I have a love hate with DSOTM. But I can appreciate if something is going to be (over)lauded, it is well produced, has some melodic depth, and has an overall generally positive message, otherwise it is a bit of an albatross.

I never saw Floyd or Zep as opposites, if anything, there is usually a third or forth band we flit amongst, Sabbath, Tull, Genesis, Yes, etc., These bands didn't happen in a vacuum in real time, so I would assume neither did liking or not liking them.
