It'll be interesting to see if anyone picks him in the cup, he's very rarely been picked over the years. My theory on this is that his best stuff, with perhaps a couple of exceptions, are also his best known songs. Given how much he released over his lifetime there should be lots of opportunities for 'deep cuts', but there isn't somehow, it's hard to find those nuggets in his catalogue. Your theory is ptooey! Who knows G, someone on Preludin might pick a Prince song for the letter P. I can see it happening. I hope it's something brash and a bit tacky like "Let's Go Crazy"! |

Knowing Prince's tendency to very carefully manage his official image, he probably has/had people constantly checking wiki and keeping those facts and info put there about him to a bare minimum.

I have this image of Prince at 2am, in full regalia, cuban heels, the fucking lot, hunched over a laptop editing his wikipedia page and occasionally banging his fists on the table and making that little sound he made "ugh" repeatedly. |

This popped up in a shuffle this morning on the way to work, made my Thursday AM. It's a significantly different animal to the final mix, and not only because the final version's slightly weird-but-raunchy outro has not developed yet. Damn the man could make music.
