Honestly, I'm just struggling now, it's genuinely a chore and making me think I should just sit this one out and hope for something better in round 5. No offense intended to anyone. Just not my cup.
B for the change of style.

B is just plain dull and uninteresting. I guess it's supposed to be amusing?
A, despite not relating overly well to the theme, and being from a multiple repeat performer, is leagues better.

B is odd. Not odd in the 'hatstand barbecue' kind of way, just that everything in it seems a little off to the side somehow, not what you're used to. Not keen.
I've heard A already about four times in this cup, it's close to formulaic, but it's groovy and I like it.

Aren't there any decent songs to be found with Fruits or something in the title, so we do not have to resort to this stuff ? B's narrator is fucking annoying..A is competent in what it is trying to do, it's just not that interesting..Screw the burger making creep, Vote A

Both outside Preludin's comfort zone - 60's Hammond soul-jazz and a more contemporary Australian rock band - so we'll be lucky to get 8 votes between them.
Well, I really like both. B for the laughs.

Well I liked B, in fact I liked it a lot. A is kinda ok but a clear loser here.

A"s pretty strong, some really nice soloing. Not the most exciting soul jazz instrumental but enjoyable. B's really dreadful wth that nerdy guy droning on, I can't really listen to him. Absolute drivel.

Nowt wrong with either in my book, I don't understand the vitriol...
Brother Jack McDuff wrote the fabulous Vas Dis later covered by Wishbone Ash, arguably his best moment!
But Il'll go for the pleasant and funny B

A is a bit of an earworm. B has left me feeling perplexed. When he sang "you don't need to be on a diet" I was hoping he was going to follow it with "take this chicken leg and fry it" but no such luck. Sorry B.

I could take the voice in B. The track was light, breezy and not too annoying. But the refrain from 'Summer Breeze' started to irritate. Then I played A. Not much of a song is it? Someone arsing around on an organ, a bit of diddling on other stuff, people occasionally shouting 'hot barbecue'? Whaddya know?

Well, I thought A was all right, with some nice sax smeared over the organ, but as Great Leader says, I've heard it all before, and quite recently. B I thought was charming, a light and cleansing summery sorbet of an arrangement and an engaging vocal – I'm not bothered if people 'talk' rather than 'sing' – over the top.
