From those three I'd take the first, easily. The other two are a bit too fey. The Attack, especially, did better.

From those three I'd take the first, easily. The other two are a bit too fey. The Attack, especially, did better. The first one didn't get released at the time. The band went on to become Kaleidoscope and re-recorded it. That version is far more produced and arranged, but I prefer this earlier, punchier version.

Didn't care for the first one, it sounds very much of it's time, somewhere between Merseybeat and The Who. Didn't like the vocals.
The Attack track has the best drums, and reminds me occasionally of Foxy Lady, but it inexplicably lurches towards Freddie and the Dreamers in short bursts. Not bad though.
The last one has the best bass. But again, it feels very much like it's copying better bands, and the vocals annoy me.
G will be both surprised and gutted that I didn't care much for these. But I didn't want to ignore the post, either.

We just need to find the missing link between Terry Callier and Nurse With Wound and it will be the start of a beautiful new dawn for Preludin!
