First of all, sorry about the meltdown. Final results and league tables now in the appropriate place, although there's every possibility they're all wrong. Did my best, but created a rod for my own back with the format Secondly, plenty to say about the format, and how it could be bettered if we were to do it again – and I think we should consider it, because the voting numbers didn't tail off as much as they usually do, and, despite virtually everyone being pissed off by some aspects/themes, no-one was pissed off at everything that I noticed – but I'm hungry, so it will have to wait. In the meantime, please have your say.

Personally, despite all my whinging, I think the format worked for the most part, and I wouldn't be averse at all to continuing the same way. We could even have division 1/2 now, with promotion and relegation to play for. But someone should handicap fange (physically, if needed).
I'm definitely including a time-frame in my theme if we do run this thing again.

I think it could develop into a tactical thing, like what kind of category would my opponent struggle with, which could give it an interesting extra dimension. I noticed that some struggled with my flute category for instance, which played to my advantage a bit, although that's not why I picked it. I picked it simply because I like a lot of records with flutes in them!

I thought – in fact I'm pretty sure you said - it was to confound me, which is why (apart from liking it from the ’50s on) I chose that kwela insumental

I've enjoyed it, especially the way it can include both the stuff we love as well as musical areas outside our normal comfort zones.

Leather chaffs and tends to lead to uncomfortable questions.

I appreciate the effort and the ideas that were put in, I just apologise for my brain not being up to the scrutiny of my picks. I'm not as built for a scrap as I used to be.

I enjoyed it.
As usual, frustrated with everyone else’s poor taste, but the you go.
I enjoyed messing with people’s heads. Eg murderer. Spector. River Deep etc. It was too much for some people. They couldn’t take it. Hence, my poor showing.
Next time expect even more tenuous linkage
I’m a born winner.
