Can someone move this to music? I blew it and put it in wrong spot.

I enjoyed it. Watch through the credits, the list of dates for the never ending tour is staggering. The list of dates also shows the tour went far beyond what is shown. Love the idea of the Bobster driving the bus.
It's a real slice of Americana. Most of the tunes are dead in the water without Scarlet Riveria, other wise lots of tuneless caterwauling, for such a ramshackle big band, more lurching than real takeoffs. To have made money Bob should have done some big dates, but I'm glad he did it, and glad it was filmed. It shows NYC it is splendid seedy glory; and Patti Smith may have been the Dave Grohl of her day, everywhere with everybody.

I find Bob really engaged -- like he's actually thinking about what he's singing while he's singing. I'm less impressed with the interviews but the performances and the "local color" time capsule stuff I found pretty exciting.
you can take all the fake-o interviews and stick 'em up Bob's butt.

I met up with some people who had just seen him at McCabes. one of those attendees got a HUGE laugh from his fellow concertgoers when he asked "so, why do they call him 'Rambln' Jack?"

Nah, hardly anyone looks in there. Moved to music You could get rid of it altogether and have the TV and film chat in general. Nah. I'd rather the movie fans had their own place, away from decent society . It's just that it is basically a filmed concert.
Personally, I just check out Recent Posts, anyway.

The concert footage definitely makes the film. There was definitely something in the air at that moment, and you could see that everyone (especially Dylan) was tapped in. Similarly - all of the interviews from that time also capture that moment. Just being in the company of these people, doing this thing together (whatever the strange interpersonal going’s on between them) - there’s some privilege to being let in a little bit.
But I think Scorsese marred the whole thing a bit with all of the modern talking heads stuff. I get that he was trying to comment ironically about the impossibility of separating truth from legend - but it is ultimately trite. Once you get the joke, it just pulls you out of the headspace of the music and poetry.
I’d love to see the old footage Scorsese had to work from without his contributions.
