I think Orville Peck's secret identity is Lana Del Rey in drag.
B is some kinda sub-Alice Cooper stuff, and not very interesting at that.

B is ok. It is trying quite hard to be 'sixties', but I don't know why you'd bother, really.
A is cool. I like gay cowboys, and the milfs are just fine and dandy. It's got a bit of the Chris Isaaks about it, and he was a one trick pony. Is this Orville's first rodeo? I hope he's got a bit more in his corral. Yee Haw

A did grow on me. I hear a touch of Lana del Rey in there – has someone said that already? In fact on second listen I really like this song, even if the chorus is a bit operatic. Sorry B.

Both of these are pretty solid.

I like both
B isn't very original, but quite solid
A is great, love his voice (and the fringed mask shtick)!

Strip away the dressing and iconography, and what you get is a really fine voice - especially when he soars into the high registers, really pure, melismatic high tenor - and a guitar with an appealing (to me at any rate) tone on a simple yet affecting song. Love the banjoo outro, too.
Very nice liquid lead guitar lines in this every now and then, but the vocals are dull, the song is cliched and the drummer is annoyingly high in the mix.
A, easily
