Two wonderful clips here. Feel free to comment and/or add your own.
London 1967
Harlem 1930s. Such style.

In the 1967 one you see how older people, particularly men, made much more of an effort in general to dress, even if it was just a jacket and a tie. Their clothes would at least fit.
When I see men in their fifties and sixties around where I live wearing jogging bottoms and badly fitting t-shirts over their lumpen stomachs, I do despair a little.

It's true what you say and a sore miss these days. I remember when I was a nipper in the late 60's, my dad, who was a factory worker, would have an elaborate shaving session on saturday morning, then dress up in a suit, clean shirt and tie and polished shoes and then went on with his business...going into town, visiting relatives and stuff like that.

How many takes of the Kellog's frozen pizza ad do you think William Conrad intentionally flubbed so he could continue chowing down on the pizza? I didn't even know Kellog's made pizza.

Yeah, I have no memory of that product either. If you lived through the Kellog's Pizzas - you don't remember them.

Well , that's 90% of Preludin members insulted Toby. I always thought I would wear a three piece suit and a hat when I got older. Maybe I will.
