Oh god yes. I've been so tempted to get the ipad version too.
FM was the greatest game of all time. I remember wasting away a Student Loan playing the 93/94 version continuously for about 3 months. IIRC didn't Robbie Williams basically spend about a year playing it or something?
The last one for me was FM13.

FM2012.
I would have carried on but my laptop went tits up and I lost 12 odd seasons. I'd just won the European cup 4 times in 5 years including retaining it twice. I was building a new team as well but I took it as a sign that was the end.
I tried again a few years later but the enthusiasm wasn't there and I gave up very quickly.
More addictive that crack. I suspect

It is.
I used to do the "lower league" version - you start off in the non-league division 2, and, crucially, you could only sign players that your scouts found - not the well-known wonderkids that everyone would buy. Made it a lot harder and more realistic; I remember foundering about in the French 2nd division for about 5 years once, got promoted to Ligue 1 and then was sacked because they had new owners. Went on a proper European jourmeyman career, which I think the best highlight was getting into the UEFA Cup with Bohemians in the Czech Republic and winning 2-1 at Lazio.

Sitting in the big chair, organising people, playing for profit.

Third AND fourth play through of this, first (and second) time on the PS4. Still hilarious, fun, and very well designed. Unlike the sequel ( Fractured But Whole) which I gave up on after a couple of hours. This may sound hyperbolic but I genuinely think this is a properly revolutionary game. It's a very powerful PC program but with a cute, cuddly accessible interface. How this doesn't have that much hype I'll never know. Perhaps it's the complexity which is putting people off but my word, Media Molecule have outdone themselves. Apart from that I'm feeling an empty single player-shaped void that needs filling. There's plenty I want, none that I'm willing to spend that much money on yet. I might just replay an old sprawling favourite. I've also really been thinking of getting Persona 5 because so many sources that I trust say that it's amazing, despite all my instincts saying I won't enjoy it because it's a weeby turn-based JRPG that lasts 5 million hours. It's only £20 though....

Got the "Project Manage WW2" thing that is Hearts of Iron 4 the other day. Ridiculously difficult, but good fun anyway. France are super difficult to play as because they're so divided.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey and a couple of other things on PS4 are 70% off at the moment, so I'll snap them up. Reading through the thread I never did finish RDD2.

I prefered Origins to Odyssey, the main quest in Odyssey was decent enough but the superfluous stuff got repetitive. Shagging Alcibiades made up for it though. I'll pick up Valhalla when its a tenner.
Just Tetris Effect, other than that.
