Ultravox! and Killing Joke should be here. There's something slightly disappointing about a band not having the creativity to come up with an album title though.

The Cars debut is a gem, if you happen to like new wavey pop-rock.
The Killing Joke debut is also a gem, good call Fishy.
The rest of that list are mostly pretty great, as you'd expect from such classics.

Do you have a problem with MO too, skopey? Another major Aussie group who didn't please you at some point? To be fair, the debut is very good rather than great, for mine. But it has a couple of real gems, like this...

Van Halen debut is perfect along with the Stone Roses.
Both take you on a journey it kind of feels sinful to listen to any individual song on shuffle in these Apple music/Spotify times we live in.
Led Zeppelin was the other I voted for. Not my favourite but brilliant introduction to the band.

A most glaring omission. It would have been my first choice had it been included.

Maybe we could do a list of our own favourite top ten, just a thought. In approximate order: 1. Roxy Music 2. The Clash 3. VU & Nico 4. The Doors 5. Suede 6. The Stooges 7. NY Dolls 8. Suicide 9. Blondie 10. The Seeds Honourable mentions: LZ, La's, Funkadelic, Moby Grape, Smiths (poor production - otherwise would be top ten), VH
