A pretty easy B for me.
The Pentangle is fine, but I’m not keen on that sort of flowery vocal style. The long jazz thing is something to ease into and get carried away.
Great.

I've procrastinated over this one. I think I'm giving it to A simply because my head feels more responsive to Jansch at the moment than spiritual jazz. Two superb choices, though.

Sorry but don't have the time to go through B all the way. Still the first few minutes were enough to win me over, especially when it's against Pentangle. I have always found Jaqui's voice a tad irritating.
I'm sure I'll come back to

Pentangle
A wonderful song by a wonderful group, familiarity can never chip it’s lustre.

Sorry, guys, but since I have an already-often-stated-to-the-point-of-boredom mild aversion to Pentangle, and I don't have have an hour to spend on listening to anything, I won't be listening to/voting on this one.

That's a shame, Ray - listening to 'The Creator Has A Masterplan' is one of the best ways to spend 30-odd mins of your life, truly. Do yourself a favour with your new hearing apparatus.

Just be thankful that I didn't get hippiedrill to do it.

I'll choose B because I've never heard it before and it's different. Though I love Pentangle and night flight, it's one of those pieces that I've heard hundreds of times over the decades.

And so round P ends with an intriguing match. I like A but after a couple of minutes I couldn’t wait to get to B. Just as well it wasn’t the other way around! It isn't easy to talk about B but I think the reason I like it is the same reason I like Coltrane’s Interstellar Space, whose title offers a clue. I mean you have to get on board with the music like it’s a spaceship, no? And let it take you out of your world and into another one. Something like that, anyway – I’ve been at the marsala. B

Neige didn't even get a chance to vote. sorry mate But i'm so happy and surprised to see a 30+ min. spiritual/free jazz tune get a win against an awesome Pentangle track!
