apart from my football musings, the GENERAL forum has become a dead zone now that the preluding cup is underway.
i'm not sure what we should take from this, but i'd be interested to read any theories.

This board is ALWAYS busier than the music board.
You just have to say 'all Brits eat shit' and you're off for 8 pages.

Actually, right now I'm eating some fine vegetarian sausages, baked potato and petit pois, but to each his own.

Actually, right now I'm eating some fine vegetarian sausages. just out of interest ray, what do they contain which stops them from being VEGAN? here in spain, LIDL do a really good VEGAN range called 'beyond'. i'm not really a fan of VEGAN meat substitutes as i prefer to eat raw foods, but i did enjoy their sausages.

Nothing that I can see, adam, unless yeast counts. They're Linda McCartney brand, made with soya protein, and are sold as vegetarian: maybe they use eggs or dairy in the factory and can't guarantee no contamination. There is a LIDL in Taunton, and msthang (who does the supermarket shopping, as she can drive), has bought a few things in the Beyond range, but not sausages.
