He has a new series on Henry VIII that's just started on Youtube, with this as an hors d'oeuvre. It's very good.
I studied the Tudor era for A Level History, an awfully long time ago, and we watched programmes presented by Starkey in lessons then, as well as reading the works of his great teacher, Professor Geoffrey Elton.

Barry Cryer knows his onions.

I find this interview fascinating. I'm not usually into these kind of videos where old villains boast about their exploits. However there is something compelling about the way this guy ( he's a guy called Jimmy Holmes, who later wrote a fictional account of his criminal career called 'Judas Pig') describes the most terrible deeds. It's pretty rare to hear a major gangster talk so openly. It's like lifting up a rock and looking at the turmoil underneath.

Preview track of next year's new album from (formerly British) Sea Power, in my view the only great British band still standing (Piano Magic are basically pan-European)

I remember a bunch of us watching that at the cinema when it came out. I remember Corso was good value!

I enjoy this food rating show with comedian Jim Gaffigan's younger sons.
